This Easter we hosted our family once again and had a yummy turkey and ham lunch! This years hit was uncle Doug's elotes! I have a feeling we'll be trying to make them pretty soon because they were delicious and looked beautiful!
It's always fun having family over, and our little family keeps growing! Last year we only had Luke and this year it was Noah's first Easter! He hung out and napped most of the time while Luke played with cousins, ate, opened Easter baskets, hunted eggs, ran around and had a blast! Next year both our boys will be running around having a blast together!
I love Easter! I feel like it completes the celebration of Christmas.
December we celebrate Jesus's birth and in Easter we celebrate his
finished work! Our God came as a baby in the flesh grew up into a man
and then died on the cross to bear all of our sins. But thats not all!
He rose again! May we never take that truth lightly, may it not only be
special on Easter but may it be what keeps us going every day!
