As we're waiting on the little one to come I've just been busily rejoicing counting down the days! Fred and I recently celebrated our 3 year anniversary. We had a romantic babymoon getaway at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine. We were able to get two nights for the price of one which was great! Loved our view! Had some much needed relaxing time! It was also nice to be able to feel like we were outdoors all while we were in a giant air conditioned atrium! Check me out in my maternity swimsuit! We ran around the water park like a little kid and then that night I totally paid for it, sore hips and terrible braxton hicks, I thought I was going to go into labor!
Last week Selina threw me the cutest baby shower! It was so cute! She had this great idea of having the ladies paint Luke onesies so that I can take his monthly growing pictures. Lots of yummy treats and we got lots goodies for Luke! It was lots of fun she did a great job!
Fred took a few maternity pictures of me around the house. The plan was to take them outside but the day we planned for rained and now its been over 100 degrees and trying to look cute in Texas summer heat is not possible! I don't know if I'll be able to get my outdoor pics, I guess we'll see, that's one of the downsides of having a summer baby!
We have been busy busy! I was just telling Fred that I have no idea how we would be able to get all this stuff done if he wasn't off for the summer! It would be a lot harder! After finishing our classes the hospital offered now we're scheduling interviews for pediatricians, having car seats checked making sure they're installed correctly, buying all the last minute little stuff, getting hospital bags ready, finishing nursery... AHHHH! But before the thought of Luke coming gave me little mini panic attacks, now I definitely feel more prepared. If he came tonight I think we'd be pretty ready! His nursery is all done too! I'll be posting it up pretty soon! 35 weeks this Wednesday!
